Air Shocks?
« on: March 16, 2009, 01:41:54 PM »

Is there a better set of Air Shocks to put on a 2008 Road King? if so what will it gain me in the performance of the ride? Im new here to this site. I also just had the Top/ End done on my bike, TC-500 cam, HeavyDuty Air breather, Bub 7's Brouhard true dual's, SE super tuner, runs like a hot rod now, and the Bub 7's sound great.

This might be a better fiT in the "Wheels, Ties, Suspension, Brakes" forum, but I'll reply to get you headed in the right direction.

Yes, there are several options for upgraded shocks, both front and rear. The H/D design is for a 175 lb rider. I weigh 250, so I upograde all of my shocks. In general, this is a better upgrade than chrome or performance, but that is obviously debatable.

Bitubo, Progressive, and Works make upgraded rear shocks.

Start with this trhead - this gentlemean posts a lot and writes very well. It will get you started
