Just heard from my dealer that the SERT is on back order. Did they just recently enhance or modify this equipment.  I did a search and found this...http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=11768.0

I just want to make sure I purchase the latest version of these beasts.  If not, are they upgradeable?

You can get them reprogrammed when you dyno your bike or simply use another map that is for your combination of A/C, pipes, cams etc.

Hello John,

It's not possible to put a reply in your Topic.
So, the latest version of SERT is Race Tuner Software 4.62 version J.
This version is just delivered to the dealers.

If you need to upgrade your Map, independently of the tuning, you need to purchase the new CD (actually 4.62 version). The cost is approximatly 20$.

Normally, if you have the Map for your bike on the CD, you need not to buy the next.
The little box for connection between the ECM and the computer is always the same. It's only for the connection.

Yes, SERT's are back ordered til June and the Zippers TM is several weeks out too.  Therefore I am seriously thinking about installing the Dyna Twin Tech closed loop system.  Same technology (and cost) as the Zippers and the Twin Tech now has the plug in feature.
Anyone else have experience with the Twin Tech?

The reason some need(ed) the 4.62 is if they have an 07' 110 bike they need the map from this CD because it re-enables the compression releases that were broke in previous versions.
