Removing main fuse with security system
« on: November 18, 2020, 03:16:30 PM »

Trying to find the correct way to disconnect the main fuse with security system when working on the bike.

Turn on bike with key fob present and pull fuse within 15 sec?

Thanks

I thought it was turn key on and off quickly, then pull fuse. If you screw up I'm pretty sure it stops chirping eventually.

How about putting the max fuse back in?

In the past had the bike off and inserted the fuse, always see a small spark.

Appreciate the help!

There will be a spark because there is current running through the fuse. Thats normal.

I just tried on/off quickly and pulled the fuse. The alarm didn't go off. Plugged it back in 30 seconds later and everything is fine. The bike is a 2013 Ultra CVO.

Turn key to On, let it cycle.

Turn key to Off, WITHIN 5 seconds pull main fuse out.
