ESP refund......Did you know?
« on: November 07, 2020, 12:04:23 PM »

When you trade or sell your bike .....you can get a pro-rated refund on the unused portion of the ESP....regardless of use! The dealer won't give you anything for it on trade as they want to sell another one to the new owner. I'm getting about $2500 of $3600 minus a $50 fee...... used about 17 months of 60.......and had $5600 of work done.

DON'T MISS OUT!

ESPs are actually an insurance policy. All state laws require that a prorated refund on unused insurance be issued upon cancellation.

After visiting the originating dealer with proper documentation (miles and date) a pro-rated refund will be processed and come your way (about 4 to 6 weeks average) in the mail. If you trade with the originating dealer they will generally apply it toward your new purchase on the spot.

The Business manager at Mountainview ensure I got the refund .....my previous purchase at a different dealer outright lied about the refund to me when I bought Ruby.

Its kind of like a savings fund for the bike. Had the extended on the 09 and it paid for itself in warranty repairs, then when I canceled it and recieved my refund that was the financing for part of the motor work.
