Hey guys, now that the good riding days are limited here, time to start setting up my new bike.

I want the audio(directions) from my Garmin 2730 and my Escort 8500 radar detector to play through the HK Advanced Audio system. Does anyone have a good set up that accomplishes this?

I know I could just plug into the Auxiliary connector but then I would have to listen to nothing until either one of these devices had something to say.

I looked at the Kennedy stuff but I think it is only good for the pre '06 system.

I know this problem will go away if I throw my money in the right direction. So, let's hear it. Where do I sent the cheque???

Did you ever find a solution for this?

I did a work around,for the time being... I installed an Autocom AVI Pro and took the headset audio coming out of the HK system and put it into the Autocom system as a music input.  Then I was able to plus a FRS two-way radio, my GPS, and up to two more devices into the Autocom.  The downside is I have to plug the helmet into the Autocom rather than the HK.  But, the handlebar controls still control the volume, channels, etc.

Needed something quick to get FRS/GMRS radio interfaced as my wife and I, on separate bikes, are leaving for Laughlin Nv from east Texas tomorrow and we wanted to be able to communicate.  And I darn sure did not want to loose my XM!  :^) 

Will get me by until I figure something else out.
