Finally got to ride up to Green Mountain
« on: May 22, 2025, 08:01:30 AM »

Has been about 9 months since Hurricane Helene destroyed much of an area that my Son and I love to ride so we decided to go check out the road repairs. Much of the area still looks like a bomb was dropped by accident. Will be a long time--if ever--before the place is back to normal. Saw more tandem dump trucks than cars. Even saw a few that had been fitted to use RR tracks. Didn't take many pics, here are a few.

Thanks for sharing. The national media has never really shown the damage there and has forgotten them.
