...Ms. Bottom, I believe you'll find they are offering you heat in the solo saddle now.  Saw one on a Jalapeno about a month ago.
Ahhh Uhhh!  Sounds great.  I really have to wait till this fall.  All my savings and what I can save between now and then, is going to the July - VA-SASK-BC-AL-VA trip.  But if they have a solo seat now with heat, I can do a better job of ordering a new seat.  I think I will stay with the tan - looks great with the gold pinstriping, get one that pushes me forward a tad, and I may even get some red in the piping, since the tan definately did not stand up to wear.  Thanks for the heads up.   :cherry:

The company shouldn't even bother with seats.  Give me the 500-800 off the price and I will supply my own...Sheesh.
The really are POS. My 03 FLHR was quite really un useable.  Flimsy plastic pan, squishy foam and crummy skin.

The corbin dual tour I put on it (used) has run 30k miles, looks good and is comfy.  It fits on my 07 serk but does not look right because of the differnt dash.  Corbin rules.

I paid either 1089 or 1189 (CRS) for the heated seat with factory connections, to my door.  That included the solid backrest, as I did not think the Oval looked right with the ostrich insert.  I could not be happier with both the comfort and the build of the seat.  If you pick up the Corbin seat, it is at least 2 times heavier than the factory model, and the difference in the seat pan is night and day.  You can't build a good seat on a flimsy a$$ed piece of plastic, like the MOCO attempts to do.

I then e-bayed my old seat, backrest, and hardware for $500 bucks, so the overall cost was not that bad.  I would do it over a hundred times...the only reason I don't have a Corbin on my Vrod is because I swapped it out to a Sundowner, which works well for the 50-75 mile runs I typically do on that bike.  if I was travelling further on it, I'd have a Corbin.  I had one on my Ducati Multistrada too.

Glad it worked out...I wouldn't go back to the MOCO seat ever...(of course I should have stock in Corbin- I have bought 4 of them over the years...)
