License Plate Frame/Mounting
« on: April 28, 2007, 07:48:23 PM »

Finally got my Texas tag yesterday.  I installed it on the Jester with a cheapy HD license plate frame.  It looks ok, but I only installed it with the two bottom screws.  The top two are empty and the mounting bracket on these beasts is a little unsightly.

Just wondering what some of you othter owners have done to spice this are up a bit.  I searched through a couple of threads on rear end lighting to try to scope some out, but didn't see too much.

Anyone feel free to post a pic or suggest a frame or new mount that looks a little cleaner. I'm going to get the book out and start looking as well.

Thanks.

Cobalt, I just use the reflective screws. Blow up the pix & you can see it (I think)

He's a nice way to really make the license look like it belongs.

That lower plate really looks good but I can't get by the fact you have to cover half that medallion on the rear fender.  All of it?  ok, half?  Doesn't look finished somehow... :-\

I got this frame at (of all places) HD Shop, The Frame has no visible bolts but is held on with allen screws from behind thru stock plate frame.
