LED Lighting for Leather Tour Pak

There have been some excellent posts about installing the LED flexible strip on the license plate frame and leather tour pak.  I installed mine last night and found that the double side tapes doesn't hold well on the leather.  If you're installing one of these, you might want to try some clear silicone.  It works great and the extra silicone comes off with your fingernail.  The light is definitely brighter and should warn the cell phone talkers behind be that I have my brakes on.

A work of caution to those installing the LED strip on the leather TP...it is extremely important that you thoroughly clean the area with a 50% mix of alcohol and water, allow to dry, then stick the strip on.  If you have any of the treatment product on the leather, it might not stick as well.
