Do you scrape the left floorboard more than the right or right more than left?

Normally, you'll hit the kickstand more than boards. You have to get past the kickstand to hit the left board. Most people (right handed) are more comfortable turning left, so they will hit left before hitting right.

Sharp left turns drag the stand and sound funny, the right floorbard on mine is worn down and I seem to hit it more than left.  Just curious.

Thanks for pics Chief!

Here's a funny little anecdote from my MSF course.

We were riding around on the little Night Hawks doing the cone weave and someone remarked that they felt more comfortable turning left than turning right. The instructor's answer, I'm not making this up, was that in the northern hemisphere its easier to turn left. If we were in the southern hemisphere, it would be easier to turn right.

I'm not lying!!! That is what he said. Honest.

Our MSF instructors made the same claim when we took our classes.

But I scrape my right floorboard a bit, but the poor left floorboard is missing about 2 1/2 inches of chrome from the bottom and poor kickstand takes a beating. I just went to go look at it, as last Saturday I was laying flying sparks for about 4 feet around a corner we took too fast, and my poor bud that sticks up at the end is worn down so thin and sharp, I could use it as a tomatoe knife.  It is missing alot of it's former chrome.

When I have a w**k I prefer my right hand but with my left hand it's easier to think it's Paris Hilton, does that count  ;D
