Update on 110 mods
« on: July 14, 2007, 12:31:45 AM »

Well finally got my blue back today. I found out no matter what you just can't sit in traffic the temp just keeps rising. As long as you are cruising down the road temps are much cooler than before the work and tune. I will have to post the dyno sheet when we get back from Nelson but results are. Base run 81.73 hp and 100.49 Torque after work and tune 114.03 Hp and 117.14 Torque. I'm very happy with the numbers and can really feel the difference in performance riding, Feels much stronger throughout. Afr nice and flat

Thank you, could have done better with a better exhaust as just have stock head pipes with V&H oval slip ons. Mike suggest the new rinehart true duals with the quiet baffles, Or if you want all power on the upper end D&D Fatcats. :bananarock:

Looks like it was a good combination. It should have a great RPM range compared to stock. Let's hear how it feels on your trip, after you get to play with it a little! ::) Evjoy it Rooster! :huepfenjump3: Hoist! 8)

Thanks Hoist, wish you were coming to Nelson. I guess we'll meet up one of these days.
The oil spring really made the oil pressure jump right up.
Well, after the Nelson trip I have to say these 110's don't like the warm temps at all. As long as it is cool outside no problems but in the 90's, PING,PING, PING. On the way back from Nelson first stop noticed oil seeping at bottom of rear cylinder. So back to the Dealer tommorrow A.M. WE will see what happens. I love my bike but jsut got to get it right. Hopefully that is possible.
