Thanks for the pics.  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:  I AM REAL GLAD I BOUGHT AN 07.  IMHO a CVO bike should have it's own identifiable color.  To pay the premium CVO price and share the color with another bike is bad enough but to share it with every bike in the harley lineup makes absolutely no sense.  I could ask what was Harley thinking but I believe most of you good folks have asked that question many times already.

Just ordered a new corbin seat for my jester the stock one was killing me and the lady.  Thanks for all the posts on seats.

WTF they were thinking with these paint?
But hey wait till you see them in person right????
I still like the paint on roadkings,Dynas and springers but Ultras?
White one is ok tough. But still they are kinda too dull compare to other years Ultras. :drink:

I own the silver and blacks because I like the color.
When I go to "Nada" and look up values the silver and blacks are listed as anniversary models.
I was always told all the 03's were classified as anniversary models .
Lets ask KH Dude.
Are all 03's called anniversary models or is it just the silver and blacks? If it's all, then why does "Nada" list a separate price for anniversary models?

And also KHD
Great pics from the show! :2vrolijk_21:

It is my understanding that all 2003 machines are "Anniversary" machines, including the red and white motorcycles. All 2003 H-D's came with a 100th anniversary badge on the left crankcase. The machines with the highest anniversary content are the silver/black; the scarcest are the red and white.

I believe you hit something here. They (ultras) look very very dull compared to previous years. Looks like an ordinary ultra made for an old geezer  ;D

You are correct about the badge on motor. The red was the least amount made :2vrolijk_21:

Damned shame what they did to the Ultras. . . and reducing run numbers to boot! I like the '06s & '07s a whole lot!
Not real fond of the paint schemes. Figures, huh? Proably have the paint quality issues ironed out now!
The only one that really does anything for me is the orange/flamed Springer.

Hmmm, the Anniversary color being the most produced.  I guess that makes sense somewhere in the MoCo, but not to me.  I would have made the Anniversay model a truly limited production, say no more than 1000 bikes...it actually puts the red and white bikes at 1200 each then, which makes them more rare than the Anniversary model.  I don't get it. :nixweiss:

The anniversary model makes more profit, and will probably be more desirable to the end consumer, so they make more of them. We're the ones who want them to be rare, the MoCo wants everyone who wants one to get one, or two.

Rare and Harley don't go together anymore. Everywhere and Harley are more accurate nowadays.
