I was at one of the local dealers today, and the only '08's they had on the floor, was an Anniversary Street Glide and Anniversary VRod.  I took some a pic of each with my cell phone so they're not the best.  The copper actually looks better, I think, in the picture then it did in person.  One thing I noticed on the Street Glide, they went to a fiberglass shorter whip (about 2 feet long), instead of the long wire whip.  It looked alot sweeter.  One thing I do like about the Anniversary Street Glide's seat, and I don't know if you can see it in the pics, but there is a copper insert that runs front to back on the black seat...pretty cool.  Anyway, here's the Street Glide

Sorry you couldn't make it today too.  We could have went out for a ride.  It was a great day for riding.  I went on a nice long round about way home after leaving Waugh's.

I do like that street glide. I think the paint is great looking. I wonder how many of that color will be produced?

I think the serial number on the Street Glide was 68 of 1800 and on the VRod 34 of 1300.  So it should be 1800.  That doesn't surprise me that the bagger will be made in larger quantities than the VRod.  The Street Glide is a popular motorcycle.  Although, I think the Rocker and Rocker C are going to be their popular bikes this year.

I was today at Paradise Harley Davidson, (Portland area) and they have 5 different aniiv models on the floor (fatboy, dyna, heritage, sportster and another one)....nice color and the seat matchs good!!
