Rooster,

You should end up with a stout running machine.   Do you know which domed piston they are using if it was the harley ones for the 110 or the newly released dome J&E specifically for the 110 or other?

Wow looks like Mrs. Rooster is really on top of this build for you Rooser and thanks for the quick answer.

500 bucks is expensive when you think about it in comparision to the Harley ones they were only 279.00 plus tax.   Wonder what specialty stuff was done with them for you or by Latus.   I really hope the motor is strong, be nice to good numbers from a 110.   Thus far I think the best we have seen thus far is 123/118 with a 251 cam if memory serves me right.

Yes she is, she is paying attention. I hope it runs strong with no problems as a little more money than this build cost, a new jims 120 or other isn't much more $$$. :nervous:

I've sended a request to Mike from LATUS MOTORS concerning an advise for change my cams.

My request :
I've a FLHTCUSE² with ThunderMax / Autotune, dresser duals and oval slip-ons V&H, A/C SE with KN.
It's an International model (in France).
I wish to have a little bit more Tq between 2000/3500 rpm.
What is your advise for this goal ?

The reply is :

We are having a hard time improving on the tq between 2-4k on these models when equipped with good mufflers and air cleaner. Harley has done a really good job optimizing this area on the 110's. At this time I do not have a good 100% solid answer but we are VERY actively working on it. May turn out that we will have special cams ground, as at this time available cams will actually lower tq in this area (though improving high end power). We will be trying a set of Wood Auto TW-7H cams with V&H Classic round slip-ons on a bike currently running the 251 cams and Ovals to see if we can improve upon the 2-4 area.

It seems that actually we have no efficient improvement for a light upgrade of cams.

Don't hesitate to put your comments.
