I've got another weird behavior going on with the forums.

I know that I am automatically notified of replies on any topic that I post to -- at least, so long as I don't uncheck the Notify me of replies checkbox on the posting form.

I have tried to unsubscribe from several topics that I no longer want to follow. I do this by going to my Profile, clicking on Notifications and Email, checking the box on the far right of each topic for which I no longer want to receive notifications and then clicking on the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page. Once I do this, the topics no longer appear on under Notifcations and Email in my Profile.

However, when I click on the Show new replies to your posts link at the top of the page, I see every topic which has a new post and to which I have ever posted... even the ones that I have Unsubscribed from as described above.

What am I missing?

This is the way the software works. If you don't want to see replies since you've last logged on, just hit the "marked as read" tab on top of the main page.

Ah, ok. So, when I unsubscribe, I only stop the EMAIL notification. Correct?
