I suppose it was my own fault. It has been off charge sine January. No 2 year warranty here.

Sorry to hear about your battery.

Aside from not charging it since January, the alarm was probably the culprit. I think unless you manually put the alarm into "storage mode" (I don't remember what Harley calls this mode

), it will drain the battery after some time period when the bike is parked. It seems like it always hurts your pocketbook to learn one of these little lessons...

I'm going Thur this right now, left town, came back , tried to start it, alarm started going crazy. i have the battery tender on it and don't know what to do what the alarm....

Is the battery dead? If so leave the tender on, have the key fob near the bike, turn the bike on then pull the maxi fuse. This will disarm the alarm. Turn the bike off then replace the battery
