Welcome to the site!

Not sure what you mean by HITQ motor?
3.5 - 4 qts depending on if you have an oil cooler or not.
The 07 and up tranny's use a qt and prior use 22-24 oz.

Use the dipstick to determine how much you need. Don't rely on numbers, use the level of the oil.

Check the oil COLD with the bike on the kickstand and it should be 1/2 way between the ann and full marks. The tranny gets checked cold as well with the bike straight up.

Guys,
You need to check your specific owner's manual, because my 07 SERK says engine oil checked on the stand hot to the full mark.
Transmission is checked hot on the jiffy stand between add and full.

The service manual says 3 1/2 quarts wet and 4 quarts dry (rebuild etc.)  That is a bike with an oil cooler. I always put in 3, start the bike and check it.

You have made a great point here! I assumed bagger and also pre-07 with my recomendation.

svtxtreme; What model and year of bike are you asking this for?
