Sir Michael,

Another great example of the dealer not doing the right thing and fixing the problem before it becomes a break down.   In this case the starter let loose and they are not sure what else.   The bright side of it is we get to Razz Mikey and Bubba for the picture just a bit.

HD-Mikey should probably give the reasons why the dealer didn't/wouldn't fix it and told him to continue riding it until it was an issue.   :nixweiss:

Just sad that it came to this (a break down) on a guys time off with his wife and friends.  It is not like it would have been hard to repair the starter with the 07 it is what 2 bolts and it is out?

This picture would have been a whole lot funnier if it wasn't the norm for the Dealers / Moco for customer service.

Ok so it is still funny and caught on camera.   While WowMomma is away see what happens  :huepfenlol2:

Hogbreath.  Actually Barry (Displacing Air) borrowed an Ultra from his brother for Hoist.  Hoist & Hogbreath took turns swapping the bikes.

Mikey,

Hope it is just a simple rebuild of the starter and that it didnt hurt the ring gear or anything else.

My dealer just called (Tuesday Sept 19th) they are going to fix the starter and all other problems that may have happened when the starter turned loose on me in Hot Springs, AR. I did have my T-MAX on the bike and the only one said anything was the mech. the service writer, my salesman and owner said that I spend way to much money in their store, and they will do what ever it takes to keep me happy.  :orange: :cherry:

They are going to install a chrome inter primary labor free, I will buy the parts, and put a chrome starter on for just the differences in cost between black and the chrome starters. And all this work is going to start on next Monday. This all worked out for the best. I don't have any problems with my dealer at this point. I'll keep "thangs" posted
