Just had a peek at my new bike today... Looks awsome except for one small imperfection.

Has anyone checked their truck lid where the gold leaf tape comes together... It is at the front side in the middle of the lid.  This is the only place on the bike where the gold leaf stripping comes together.  All the other gold leaf flows off the edge of the fenders, tank and bags.  On the trunk they had no where to end it and attempted to join it together, but mine is a TERRIBLE job.  It is actually overlapped and not only can you feel the bump in the join, but you can clearly see it without much effort at all, with or without the sunshine!

Just wondering if anyone else has this happening with their new 105th?

I'm with desertbear.  The paint on my frosty is perfect, from what I can see.  Metallic paint will change color, depending on lighting and angle.  My wife loves it and believe me, if there was a flaw the size of a dust particle, she would point it out!

Not to say there can't be some bad paint jobs out there, just that some of them, mine included, turned out OK.
