My $.02. I'd definitely wait, if it the color matters to you at all. I ordered my SERK3 for one reason only, a SERK was finally available in Black. I had looked at the earlier SERKs and went with standard RK's because they never had a black SERK. I saw the '07 SERK last July and knew right there I had to get it, and it would probably be the last time I'd see one. Sure enough in '08, no black (2-tone doesn't count for me). And I doubt there'll ever be another. So wait for the bike you really want. You're gonna spend enough. Make sure you're absolutely gonna love it! ;)

Hoist,

I'm not picking on the CVO bikes, not at all, I actually like the older ones with the 103's, they didn't have any issues!! I'm just sad that all these guys who are CVO fans buy the new bikes with the 110's because they like them and then they have issues!! I just don't like to see that, thats all!!

I see these guys who bring home their new bike and then they have to bring it back in to the dealer, thats just not cool, you know!! I know I wouldn't be happy!!

It's not picking on the CVO bikes, it's hoping to not see that happen anymore, right! :2vrolijk_21:

                               I still think your loaded!! :o :o
                                                                              MIKE :coolblue:

On the 103's my builder called them "happy motors" probably because of fewer issues.

Get the bike you want period. If you can settle for something else then do it. If you can, then wait. I have been wanting to purchase a new bike for 2 yrs. The time is finally here!!!!!! I really wanted a SESG, but they didn't make it this yr. The word on the street is; it will be next addition. I didn't want to wait that long so I picked my second choice SERK. I can live w/ that.

I sat down w/ the wife and went through the bike classification and wrote pros and cons; including price of accessories. Do what your pocket can handle and what you are willing to settle with. If you can pass the bike sitting in the garage and say, "damn nice ride," and keep walking then you are good to go. If you don't think you can do that then wait!

Furthermore, the bike is not scheduled to arrive until December. Not much time to ride in December located in PA. So more waiting, but staring is closer to riding.

In addition, getting orders to move shortly after summer arrives adds to the list. So patients does build character.(and a lot of beer :drink:)

Every bike on the market has some type of issue. You can spend the money on a bike kit, or some other motorcycle. Either way, problems go all around. Spend 30,000 on a Big Bear kit, Big Dog or (you pick). Even the bike kits that are classified as choppers. All they are, simply bike kits. A chopper is defined as chopping weight off the bike to make it go faster and lighter. Hmmmm, torque, hp, cc's.

Majority of motorcyclist buy motorcycles because they love to ride. The information available today allows you to research the product you want and can afford. If you buy w/o researching its you're fault.

Lets say a motorcycle is manufactured to everyones liking.  Someone comes along and produces something else to make it go faster or sound louder. Or maybe, produce bigger bags so people can carry one more pair of socks.

Basically, if you don't like it, or willing to put up w/ the hassle's then don't. It's your right! Simply put, not everyone rides a HUFFY! On the other hand, more people complain, hopefully it will get fixed.
