Color Match for Saddle Bag Spoiler Lights-'04 Black n Blue
« on: August 03, 2007, 03:52:24 PM »

I have a '04 "Starlight Black & Candy Cobalt" SEEG, that I would like to put the LED color matching saddle bag spoiler lights on.  Looking through the new Harley catalog, I (and my Harley shop parts dept.) can not find this color offered?!?! :o :confused5: :confused5:  Any suggestions?  Would midnight black work??
Thanks!

I just searched on the MoCo website using the 2004 SEEG as the bike I was shopping for and it found these -  Starlight Black P/N 58606-04BKJ.

You can still get them, they just don't list them in the catalog any longer.  Guess they only have room for so many.  The part number 'dood gave is the correct one.  Just take it back to the parts guy and tell him to order them.

Hello from Az.
If you decide to install the lights yourself be very careful of the screws that hold on the led light, these screws have come through the top of the spoiler, i had this problem and i think others on this site have also had problems. Harley replaced the first set. When i installed the secound set i ground the screws down a little before installing, be very careful.

Fired00d, thanks much for the lead on the product numbers!!!!!  I took this information to my HD shop today and ordered my saddle bag spoilers.

Desert Rat, thanks for the tip on grinding down the screws, when mounting.

Love this site, and am very appreciative of all the shared information.

I got mine at 1/2 price cause a HD Tech did that on installation on a customer's bike. I was looking for "primed" spoilers to be custom painted. But I got the painted ones (wrong color) cheap. The painter will fix the damage before painting them. He says he sees it all the time. Be vey careful mounting the lights. Hoist! 8)

hd-dude installed mine.  He wired them for run, turn and brake lights...........hopefully that's enough to keep a drunk from running over the back of me while sitting at a red light.
