Wow! I just love to see pictures that others have captured from their rides. I always keep an eye out for old buildings and churches. You had both! Looks like you and Glenn had a great time. Can't wait to see the post MV pics! Thanks for posting Duane! :2vrolijk_21:

When you were driving by our neck of the woods, the pictures of the water falls and rivers are really showing how far the water level is down right now.  We started to get some rain yesterday, they are promising a possible 2" by Saturday. We can sorely use it.  Great pics and we are so glad that you got to travel in the leisurely manner you did.  I aspire to grow up and be like you one day.  We just grab a couple of days, dash to a destination and dash home.  Stealing time when we can.  You really did indeed get to see some great country.  Catch you on the road again next year.

Man, Duane, those are some GREAT PICS!!!!!!!! :2vrolijk_21:  You have a great photographic eye!  I really enjoyed those!

They may say those are George Washington's initials, but it looks to me like it says "CVO." :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2:

Yep..........on first glance, before reading Duane's words, that is what I thought it said too.  COOL!

Great stuff here, Duane.  This is the kind of stuff Renea and I need to do...........take time along the route to "stop and smell the roses"  so to speak.  It seems everytime we reach a vacation opportunity, the momentum we've achieved during our daily lives keeps us at a fast pace through the vacation, and we never slow down until the vacation is over.  You guys did it right, and I hope we can learn from the lessons you've taught.  Thanks for sharing your experience.   :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Best that I can tell, you run wide open all the time.
Nancy and I were glad you slowed down enough at M/Valley to spend time with you.
It was a privilege and we look forward to it again at N. Ga.

Yep, that's pinpoint accurate, Chip.  just the way it is right now.  Last night kicked off another school term, and as the professor was going over the syllabus and providing the finer details of the deliverables he expects, I was beginning to wonder how I'm gonna be able to do it all and squeeze in a trip to North Georgia.  Something's gotta give.  I got this brand spankin' new ZUMO, which probably won't get installed prior to N. Georgia, as well as the saddlebag lid organizers and a few other "nice-to-haves," just so I can get going on everything.  I'm gonna make N. Georgia, but it means sacrifices in other areas to make it happen.........you know the deal.  So...........hopefully.............when Renea gets off work at 2pm on Friday 9 Nov, I hope we can both "SLOW DOWN" enough on the trip to Blairsville, so we can enjoy............REALLY ENJOY.........spending time with you, Nancy, and the rest of our CVO family.  It will be great to see you and everyone else again, and provide a focal point to one of the many reasons we do what we do.  Looking forward to it..........but for now............WORK!   ;D ;D ;D

thanks for sharing the trip photos, Duane.  Ya'll had a great 'ride' and took great photos to remember it ......  I've got to drag the camera out more on my rides and start getting better at it.  Thanks for the inspiration.  ;) har.  spyder
