Does anyone know how many threads per inch the adjusters have on the Zippers Pro-Taper Pushrods?
I have also read the Zippers instructions several times and I have a question. The motor is a 110 cvo using the stock lifters.
Most of my reading on the forum seems to indicate that many folks adjust the pushrod from zero lash on a full lifter. Then they extend the adjuster a specified amount to center the piston in the lifter body. .100 above and below the piston.
If I extend the Zippers Pushrod as indicated in the instructions, slowly, and eventually purge the lifter of all it's oil and bottom out the piston at a total of 7 full turns from zero lash and then shorten the pushrod by only 2/3 turn I am no where near the center of piston travel, or am I??
This seems to be way to tight of an adjustment
Just looking to better understand the process.

Is there a simpler method to just extend the pushrod a given number of turns or flats from a full lifter at zero lash?
Thanks in advance for any advise!
