Looks like a nice package Tom. What are the anticipated numbers? What's the compression and cam specs? I'd probably do the new TB and Feuling OP. I'd probably use the Feuling cam plate too. :2vrolijk_21:

Hoist,

Here is the proposal with some numbers and combinations:
I don't have specifics on the cam specs, but was told its a real good low end torque animal.
The compression will be about 10.1:1 right about where I want it. Here is a description of the pistons:

103 INCH TWIN CAM PISTONS
Our 103 cubic inch piston kits feature forged pistons with annular pin oiler grooves, which intersect with forced pin oilers. Second land (accumulator groove). Radius valve reliefs, cut and laid back for big valves and high lift cams (will accept up to .670 lift cams). Heavy-duty pins and clips. Performance ring package.

All piston surfaces have a coating, similar to a hard anodizing, with a very dense Teflon seal on the skirts to decrease friction and increase piston life.

It sounds like a good package. I like to keep the CR below 10:1 on a touring bike. Wes puts a nice package together, and spends considerable time matching everything up. Talk to him about the 55mm HPI. I'd do that if he recommends it for the build. Like I said earlier. Go for the Feuling oil pump and cam plate too. You'll have a good running, bulletproof motor for 5 grand. :2vrolijk_21:

I've heard good things about CylcleRama, hope to be able to use them this winter to get work done on my bike. Below is a 88 to 95 build they did. It's features at nightrider.com. Torque is nice! I was going to call torque curve, but there's not much of a curve, more like a torque table, so flat!  ;D

That looks like a great build, but I'm wondering if "Performance" is a brand name, or description of some of the listed components.  If it is a description, then who makes 'em?

Reggab,

Most of the components are made for Cyclerama, to their specs, by outside manufacturers, andrews, etc.....
I think they just use the word "performance" to get the juices flowin' and the wallet open.
