I am confused... ???

I review your avatar and the posted pic and see two different bikes...as a matter of fact I think I saw a third one on an earlier post...wow...how many bikes do you have?

When I was stationed in Twentynine Palms I use to ride to Death Valley every winter.  That is some really nice riding.  Hope you had a good trip.
