Check out the 2008 street glide and road glide the antenna is shorter, not sure if it will work on the C/B. But I just got 1 for Christman for my 2007 FLHTCI looks better but didn't get to ride it, to check it out.
The Street Glide antenna will not work on the CB side, unless you just want it for looks and are not planning on using the CB.
Cut down the factory whips on my 02 ultra. Switched to the J&M's on my 08 SEUC. The J&M's aren't bad...I think I may have lost a little reception on the radio (don't use the CB). Thinking about trying some 26" antennas made by Antenna X to see if they improve the radio reception when I am out in the middle of nowhere.
When you're out in the "middle of nowhere" chances are you won't have many FM radio stations to listen to anyway...that's where XM comes in real handy.
I went with the J&M's, the CB works better (because it's tuned better out of the package) than with the factory whip. I rarely listen to FM/AM radio, so I can't validate the claim of less FM reception with the J&Ms. I use XM almost exclusively on my bike. I do use the Weather Band on my radio every once in a while, and haven't noticed any less performance with the J&Ms over the stock whips. The J&Ms, in my opinion, are probably the best things going for shorty antennas right now.
Cheers
