Finished work yesterday morning and thought I'd call Hoist and see if he wanted to have lunch......I was already on my way down there.  Left a message.  He called me back about the time I was south of Bridgeport.  Met him at his house, drank a bunch of coffee, hugged Binx's neck, met his oldest daughter, slobbered on his new Corbin heated seat, and we were off to North Shore to visit Cybil and the new drivetrain for his FXDWG.  He had plans to pick up a battery for the Miata, but apparently the trials and woes of v-twin vendors has spread to vendors in general.  Another story.  North Shore is a rockin' awesome shop.  Very impressive.  Met Vern, and guys and gals, let me tell you..............next to Dennis, Vern is one of the most down to earth, helpful, excited about his craft, engine builders I've met.  I learn alot from listening to folks like Vern.  Terrific shop.  So we left North Shore and grabbed some lunch at Amore Pizza.  I'm here to tell you, I'll never look at pizza the same way again.  Best I've ever had...........Bar None.  Howie had them make me a chicken parmas.....parmy.....uh........whatever that word is........sub to take with me.  When I got to work last night, I heated it up and enjoyed it.  Now I'm completely spoiled when it comes to Italian food.  OK......so now I have to plan a 2000 mile lunch trip.   :2vrolijk_21:  Had a great time.

  When it comes to eating Howie is the real deal. Been to a few of his parties and the food is always amazing (even if you do have to tend the grill yourself), comes in second next to his and Binx hospitality.
   HOWIE they can dress you up in  john deere work boots and RedWing overalls have you chewing pencil shavings but they will never get the Yankee out of you. Thank goodness

Henry just left. No new pics. Crappy day here today, and the bike stayed in the garage. Took Henry out there to give him a listen/look. He was only in for a short time. He's working tonight, and just left to head up to CT. Of course we did the Amore Pizza/Chicken Parm/beer thing! :2vrolijk_21:

But as always, it was good to see him again. Ya'll are always welcome here, and have a place in the Big Apple! It's always nice to see/meet our members. It has me looking forward to seeing them again (most of em anyway :o).

Ken, you'll see your coat and camera in CHL! If I see him again before he leaves, you'll see your tools also! They're still at work. Otherwise, I'll bring them to York! :) ;)
