I bought them and got rid of them right away because of the crappy fit.
I bought them for over the winter storage protection. Found out the fender covers fit the whole saddlebag, so I use them instead.

Kuryakyn has covers listed in the new catalog - maybe they would fit better.

Remember, if it doesn't fit, don't force it. Get a bigger hammer.

Not sure where you are trying to put them on at, but I would make sure they were warm (room temperature). That may make them be a little easier to work with. I would think if you were in a cold climate and had them in an unheated garage they might be a little stiff and hard to work with. :nixweiss:

Do the chrome spears on the bag lids cause a fitment issue by not allowing them to lie flat on the covers?   :nixweiss:

Gary - they just barley fit - kind of like a teenager wearing a small t-shirt when he should be wearing a large - it'll fit but don't look right  :D

You have to make sure you put them on correctly with the Bar and Shield facing to the rear. My dealer installed then backward and they didn't fit. Turned them around and they fit like the above picture.

Take the chrome bars off, place the bag bra on stretched as tight as you can, then take small needle, nail, or sharp point to mark on bra where holes for chrome bar screws align. Remove the bra, take small leather punch, put bra back in place, and screw the chrome bar back on. Presto! Done! john-
