If your not in a hurry wait and get the new Screamin' Eagle Pro-tuner. It will be out in February. There are some new added features.

If you are still considering the auto-tune route the Daytone Twin-Tec TCFI III is a real nice unit.

I'd check around and see if a dealer has an older version that you could get at a discount.

HDNut,

I vote new over the old.   As they improve the software, they have said it will be free on the web.    The changes may also help tune your bike better in the future.   I hate paying harley 19.95 to get the latest software just because they dont want to put it on the web.  I would spend the 100 extra bucks and buy the new one if it were mine.

i was just on the line with the dealer that i get my parts from, he said he cant say one way or the other because he has not gotten any new ones yet, again I'm gonna gamble on it and wait out the new one, he did say the same as others are saying that they will be real limited at first with dealers only getting 3 to 4 so i had him order me one, and he said it will be on back order but as soon as it comes in its mine, so we will see. I'm sure it wont be the last 500 i spend on something stupid  :huepfenlol2: just my two cents, Jamie

From what I've read/heard, TTS will offer the software/maps for the current SERT free from their website since they are out from under the H-D agreement; also mentioned a new product in the near future

The pro-tuner appears to be new product developed for H-D by Kent-Moore, and not related to current SERT.
