Chrome Inner Primary
« on: July 03, 2008, 06:11:42 AM »

Thought I 'd add a little bling and maybe one more gear at the same time and looked in the P&A cat for a chrome inner. They are only showing '01 and up. Is that because of the  grease zerk on the shifter?? I figured everything else should work.
Does anyone have a core that they would be willing to sell.   I'll send that to the chrome shop so I don't have to wait.. Thanks Greg

Yes sir, I've been known to do that a time or two. :huepfenlol2: Seriously though the reason for asking for a stock P/N is some may have one that came off another model bike w/same P/N that might work for Greg to have chromed. My guess there are a lot of stock ones (mine included) laying around that might fit. :nixweiss:

A difference was something I'd not thought of Greg.  The only difference I can think of is the grease fitting though.  The outers interchange.  Could alwasy end up being mistaken but I'd bet against good odds that that the next year's inner w/o the grease fitting would bolt up without issue.
