noticed this weekend that my yellow does not come with the screaming eagle air filter system ? friend had 106 octane fuel so - we filled er up - what a difference - also noticed at the dealership sat while playing the HD DVD 2005 production video - the Yellow in teh video for introduction for this bike shows stingray gray & yellow lower fairings ?? WOAH - bike only has yellow lower fairings - what is the difference - when re-playing the DVD - the difference is the newer style lowers to the old style - but then the question arrises is why did the paint scheme change ? just a thought. our GM really did not know - must have been HD's last minute change over [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I think the change in paint schemes for the lowers was between the 04 & 05's.  I noticed that the 04's had the multi color graphic and the 05's were one color.  Suppose HD was trying to save some money!

johnny - it was while watching the introduction video at the dealership while I was working that we noticed this - YELLOW CVO video taken in like a resevoir somewhere - and shows live video of the bike with yellow & gray lowers - no big deal - just wondered why they showed this with old lower style instead of new version of lowers with all yellow lowers - it was HD"S promo video for into to 2005 bikes [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
