TTS Tune Question
« on: September 04, 2012, 04:15:33 PM »

I had my bike custom tuned last year and it ran great.  I wanted to get a little more sound out of it so I changed to the 2.0 Fulsac Baffles.  That was a little to load for me so I put the 1.75 cores back in and wrapped them in Techmat??  Ever since then, when the bike is warmed up and at idle it sounds like it's going to die.  If I crack the trottle it will cough before it get's going.  What is the problem?  I really don't want to pay a tuner again?  Lastly, should my ACR be enabled or disabled on the 110?

ACR should be enabled, also if you wrapped the baffles you are choking the engine.
The wrap should line the inside of the muffler, the baffles need to flow exhaust gases.

Update. I wrapped the screen that surrounds the baffle in techmat. Not the baffle directly

The Adaptive Fuel Values changed when you went to the 2'' baffle....the VE Tables were made richer then you installed the 1.75'' baffle and that made the fuel  mixture even richer from more back pressure. The Adaptive Fuel Values will start changing the VE Tables again but this time removing fuel.....give it a chance to work it's magic. It should get much better but if not a V-Tune session should take care of the problem.

Turns out I had an gasket leak.  Tech spray brake fluid somewhere in engine at idle and it would shut down.  Replaced a bunch of gaskets and runs fine now.
