Unfortunately my friends, this is the way of most American products. Our automotive "Big 3" lived in denial about Toyota, Datsun, etc., until the mistrust of THEIR products forced them to change/improve their marketing-er products. Anyone noticed that their are more foreign auto companies than ever before and American car companies are barely holding on? They have not recovered yet and will they? Does this story sound familiar? HD execs could care less about their product and only about Wall Street, but has anyone watched the stock price? Instead of fixing what they have, they can bring out a "new "product, see Rocker/Crossbones, and deflect the attention away from the issues. I have seen for the first time, commercials for HD on TV. Doesn't this tell us something? It does, and what it says, as I pick up my SEUC Anniversary on Monday, is that despite my whining and awareness of this POS 110, is that I spent 40K and counting and I haven't put a single mile on it yet, and they know it too. They bank on it and that's what drives the machine. I'll keep hoping that they get it right and that mine will be one of the good ones.
