Remote Keypad Not Working
« on: April 24, 2008, 10:17:09 PM »

Batteries are fine in both keypads, dash switch works fine, but remote buttons won't work. Is there any way to sync them up or something?

Have you had your outer fairing off lately? My keyfob was doing the same thing, I had missed a connection reinstalling it.

Don't know what it was, but if it ever happens to you, pull the master fuse, put it back and try it out. Worked for me :)

When you say your remote key fob will not work are you talking about locking the tour pack & bags???  My doesn't work either, but it has to be programed at the dealership to work.  I am having mine taken care of at the 1,000 mile service.

There are directions in the owners manual to program the remote lock keypad. I tried this, but it wasn't the problem, so took out the fuse and now they work. Its pretty easy to get the bike in program mode if you want to do it yourself.
