I installed the antenna to the inside of my saddlebag.  Used the antenna and connector your recommended.  I appears to work worse than the stock antenna.  I thought it might be the connector, so I cut it off and soldered the center wires together, heat shrunk that, and then soldered the shields together, and heat shrunk the whole thing.  Worked about the same.  I then put the antenna on top of the windshield to see if that helped.  The range increased slightly, but still not as good as stock.  Is there and measurement I can make on the antenna (resistance level, shows open) to see if it might be bad.

I ordered the parts and will do the install as soon as it gets here.
I saw the MOCO has a new pager for this system thats rechargable.

Replaced my original siren with the new one (SS-II) and pager, did the upgrade (antenna) and it works great. Thanks for the tip
