Forward controls or Floosboard extension

Hi all,

I would like your help,

The thins is that I've bougth a 2005 FLSTFSE a few months ago and the original floorboards reache the floor very soon and this is a bit anoying. So I was wondering if any of you could give me some advise on how to solve this problem (at least for me).

I've seen in the forum some pics of members bikes (for example Aussie has some forward controls) and I weas wondering if you could give me some references or dealer where I could get some forward controls or floorboards extensions.

Hi,

Welcome to the site, I am sure you are going to like that Fat Boy. What colour do you have? How about some pics too!

I know exactly what you mean I had the same problem. As I am 6'3 I decided to go for the extended reach version, they are 3 inches further forward that standard forward controls. I did use genuine HD parts for this conversion. Later I also added some highway pegs from 'Kuryakyn' they are great also.

Harley Davidson part numbers I used

49171-04      EXTENDED REACH FORWARD CONTROLS
34616-02      BULLET SHIFT LEVER
42683-02      AILERON BRAKE LEVER KIT
50305-02      AILERON FOOTPEGS
