boss hoss for a ride...........acceleration unbelievable!
« on: May 17, 2008, 10:17:44 PM »

Rode my first Boss Hoss and I must say it was more stable than my Ultra.....fast or slow.

much easier to handle than I expected and the acceleration was awesome.....

but i thought my pants were on fire, damn it was hot.............I will never complain again about the 110's heat again!

but did I mention the acceleration...............................I thought it was going to leave me in the street...............

my hand cramped up due to my death grip on the handle bars

I would love one...

they had a 636 ci big block with 1100 hp normally aspirated with dual quad pumpers on a high rise manifold......that was totally sick

Did they tell you to look out for the chain drag delay? That's when the slack is taken up to drag a gas station behind you. :huepfenlol2:

from what I was told the 350 CI  gets around 25 mpg which my Ultra only gets about 35 mpg

most of my toys do not get great mileage anyway.....or they would not be as fun

the one I rode was 1100 lbs,  200 more than the Utra.

Amazing thing was it was much more easily balanced and than a big touring bike, and really really fast.

has a very low center of gravity and straight lines great,  I scraped the road a cuple of times in the turns.

nothing like a purr of a V8 motor

WHY???? A V8 motorcycle seems like an oxymoron like Military Intelligence..... :nixweiss:

We could all ride Vespa's,

by the way watch out on the Military jokes, I have great appreciation for the men and women who serve and protect us...

(I am sure it was a joke)
