I have used mye originla Bluetooth module together with my Nokia for 4000 kilometer now, but when I went to the Norwegian HOG rally this weekend, and should make a phonecall, The radio asked me to "Please Pair"...
The Bluetooth on the phone was activated, and I know have tried almost everything to pair them again, but it seems like the bluetooth module does not do anything else that ask for "pairing"

I have paired the Nokia with other phones and accessories, without problems. So I think it's the module..

Anyone experienced the same and have a fix?

There was another thread here that suggested unplugging the BT module which in effect "resets" the BT.

You could reset your bluetooth module -- like I did.  Just pull the power/interface from the module then turn on the radio and cycle thru thru the various inputs then turn off radio.  Re-attach interface to bluetooth module and then turn on radio and cycle thru to Phone and try to pair phone.

This is what someone else suggested I do and it worked.

I tried to reset it. But it does not work.

I even tried to pull out the fuse for the radio memory, so I lost everything I have stored on it;
(including the Navigation)

But still it says pairing, but no phone I have can "discover" the bluetooth unit!
And I was so satisfied with it, as long as it worked so well!!!

Any other tips?

You need to set your phone into "discovery" mode. Your phone will then ask for your Harmon Kardon password. The default here in the US is: 1234. Earlier versions used the last four digits of the radio serial number. You may want to try that. So long as the BT on the bike is  asking to "Please Pair" you know it is working and the problem is with the phone and not the bike. Which phone are you trying to use? There is an incomplete list of compatible phones on the HD website.

My phone is listed: Nokia 6310.
I have made the correct setup on the Nokia. The phone is set on "visible" for everyone.
The Phone pairs with other Bluetooth equipment.

My guess it's something with the module on my bike.

The next step would be trying to pair a different phone with the bike to see if it mate.

I had an issue with mine last week. When I turned on the radio the "Phone" softkey was not listed. I had to pull the maxi fuse to reset power the the BT module. You are seeing the module when it is asking to pair so I still think it's in the phone.

Tried to remove the Maxi-fuse for one minute.
Still the same problem, does not discover the "HD -bluetooth module" on my Nokia
It says "Phone please pair" on my bike

Tried another phone, same issue

Tried to pair my nokia with another bluetooth device.
Everything worked fine!

So it is the dammed Bluetooth module on my bike that I have to reset in a way!

Enyone other suggestions from you friends out there?

AJ is probably right as mine did the same thing. I had to do a software update on my Motorola phone and when that got done it starting paring again...
I have also notice the more numbers you have in your phone it takes a little longer to par.

On my Palm Treo 755p phone the Harley Bluetooth module is listed as "H-D HFM 1336". 1336 is the last four digits of the serial number.
