left footboard
« on: August 23, 2008, 11:55:56 PM »

I have a very dumb question... I am putting a pair of Kurakyn cruise arms on a Street Glide... I have to take off the left footboard during the installation... Can that be done without having the bike on a lift?... Meaning, if I do it with it on the kick stand - is it dangerous?... I don't have a shop manual for this bike... It looks to me as if the kick stand and footboards are tied in together in the mounting... I just want to make sure it's not going to fall over if I unbolt the footboards... Thanks.... :nixweiss:
