Arlen Ness Big Sucker A/F kit
« on: May 30, 2008, 02:03:47 PM »

The instructions say to leave the stock a/f support bracket in place. Is it necessary or can you take off. Will it hurt anything to remove it & install the AN kit. Reason iam asking is i already removed the bracket since iam running the HD high flow backing plate...

Still dont understand what purpose it serves. I took mine off to install the HD h/f kit. I ordered an Ness big sucker kit with chrome back plate. The support plate was a pain to get off the first time. Cant see in there with the gas tank on. Iam not pulling the tank to reinstall the darn thing....
