Aksa Road /Hwy 60 loop
« on: May 28, 2008, 09:43:11 AM »

For those of you in the North Georgia area , I rode this loop with friends over the holiday , it would make a nice trip for those staying in Maggie Valley this fall.  We rode the Hwy 60 section before with the group , the Aska road side is even better with beautiful scenery and elevation changes along the Toccoa River.

Chief,

Do you know this area?

Yes. I rode this exact road in March before our trip to CHL. I felt the group would enjoy the more popular roads more.

The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant is on Aska Road about 8 miles out of Blue Ridge, GA.  As the name implies, it is located on the river...the food and the river view are outstanding.  http://www.toccoariverside.com/

We stopped by the Toccoa River Restraunt , it was closed on Memorial day , but the place is nice and a friend said the food was good as well.  I may be able to make it up to Copperhead, no plans that I know of that weekend.
