Dyno numbers thread?
« on: July 11, 2008, 07:06:46 AM »

I got my SEUC3 dyno numbers and I know I saw a previous thread with others but can't seem to find it. After putting SE Super tuner,SE superTrapp slip ons, (smaller diameter I know), and Stage 1 cleaner, the numbers weren't quite what I expected. Tune was done at my dealer on Dynojet. Any comments?
Before: 77.4 max HP and 90.7 torque
After: 84.27 max HP and 96.93 torque

Comfortablynumb,

No real comments yet, but if you will indulge a few questions.

Did you get a copy of the map?  How long did the dyno tuning take?  Can you post a copy of the dyno?  How many runs were made?  What gear was the pull made in?   Did the tech sit on the bike or stand besides it?

Open the canned map they started from and compare it to the map you have to see what changes were made.

The torque number seems a bit low compared to a lot of the runs I have seen.   How does the bike run at low rpm, mid range and cruising?  Any stumbling or sluggish at take off ?

Will post a copy of run later today. Working a double until 7a.m.They charged me for 2.5 hours labor. They had run other pulls in 4th gear so I assumed... also I know I'm a little punchy, but what is the import in the location of his butt? More weight on the wheel? Thanks for the imput, I'm a sponge for information, so the more I can learn the better and This site never ceases to amaze me in everyones knowledge and experiences and the willingness to share.

Attached the dyno chart. I assume the map is in the box in the Tourpak with "always keep with bike" in big letters. AS I said, I believe the pulls were made in 4th from other runs that I had seen, and the 2 runs on the chart are 1 1/2 hour apart. Bike runs extremely smooth, but greedy little tyke that I am, should I be disappointed.
