Prelim diagnosis...comp nut issue

Just got back from a 600 mile (+/-) trip up through North Idaho over into NW Montana to Missoula on Friday and then over Lolo Pass into Lewiston Idaho...but the last 108 miles were ridden this way...prelim diagnosis seems to be pointing to the comp nut backing off, however I also hit 22k miles and have second though of it possibly being cam tensioners....We'll be digging into it tomorrow sometime and will post pictures once we figure it out....the ride was with 3 buddies I went to high school with and we're gonna make it an annual trip...we had an 04 seeg (my best friend has the cobalt blue one), my 05 seeg, an 05 dyna with a big bore, and an anniversary deuce....

Sorry to hear of you trouble. Is LOLO pass the best ride or what.

yes it is BigDog!...Can't believe for all of the rides I have done in the NW that I had not done that one yet! It was great!  N Cascades Highway is next...
