I've opted to tackle this during the upcoming winter....right now I am riding the bike everyday and don't want to take the time now...I am replacing it because I want to get rid of the hard mounted gps and radar detector power modules left on it by the previous owner...they don't bother me enough to make it a big deal now during riding weather....thanks for all the tips....
