Arlen Ness Big Sucker A/C
« on: July 01, 2008, 01:13:39 PM »

As I am just beginning to modify, (concerned with Warranty issues that might occur).
After installing Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and putting on Dyno.
Horsepower increased by 10
Torque was only a slight increase on the curve.
But gained significant throttle reaction, seems to idle smoother, and seems to be running slightly cooler.
Logged with my HOG club 345 miles yesterday on Million Mile Monday, and was very impressed on how it is running.

Good to hear Sawyer. Which Big Sucker did you use, Stage 1 or Stage 2?

Hi Dirkenstein,

I have the Stage one.
I was told that the Stage 2, I would loose my S.E. Air Cleaner Cover. :)

I recently purchased the stage one also but it hasn't come in yet. Can't wait to get the PC III and new AC on my baby but still looking for a canned map to put on there as I'll probably have to wait until the budget allows proper Dyno tuning.

Good to hear the results were good. I'm sure throwing free flowing exhaust on there will do wonders for your bike. Do you have any in mind?

I am probably going to hold off. Warranty issues concern me a little.
I think I will go after True Duals, with a Fuel Pac, or P.C. as you suggested in time.

Let me know how yours turns out, that will be the convincing moment for me.

my HD dealer said I should go with the Ness super sucker and power com.
Oh Vance & Hines (not sure what style yet )
I expect to spend about $1200 any opinions
