Super SERT
« on: June 25, 2008, 06:17:24 PM »

I've had 2 dealers tell me after they do a SERT tune, they will give me my custom map loaded in the bike and on a Cd. But, I will not be able to access the map. I have tried this already with someone else CD and the SERT software doesn't recognize the format and it will not open. Whats the deal? Am I missing something?
I want to have my bike tuned with the new Super tuner, then be able to make minor adjustments if I want to. AFR etc.

Crewchief25h,

So was your tune done with a SERT or a SuperSERT.   If it was done with a SERT what version of the software did the dealer use and what version of the software do you have.

If it is the SERT and not the Super Sert the last version they released was version 4.77  prior version were 4.76 and 4.62 then 4.60.

Mine is a Super. and it has not yet been on the Dyno. A friend has the SERT L version, thats all I know. His is the one we tried to look at the map on his SERT software and the map will not open, it says there is not a operating program for the disc.
I think I can email it and see if anyone can open it.

You will not be able to open it with the old software.   Just like someone who has the D version can not open a map with the L version.   A person with the L version can open a D version, but you can not load it on the bike from the L version without transfering the data to an L version of the map.

I doubt you will be able to open the file from a super using the L older software.   I would recommend getting the latest Race Tuner Software and trying to open the map with that.

The last version released is 4.77 of the race tuner.

If you can open it with 4.77 I would stop there.  4.62 has issues with the compression releases.
