Found it funny also.

We used to take our boat to a local lake ramp on Memorial Day to have float around & have a few brewskis & watch (& help) the POOR SOULS who took their boats out maybe once a year & had no idea how to get them off the trailer.  Then later in the day, they had even less of an idea how to get them back on.  The screaming, the yelling, the gnashing of teeth.  Husbands & wives headed for divorce court.......  :D

It was always funny watching the excercise at the ramp, but I got sick of burning gas going in circles waiting for some "special moron"(cause regular moron wouldn't be fitting for some I've seen afloat), to get their pos boat outta my way so I could go home...

I am much happier now, call boat guy, get on boat guys boat, use boat guys bait and tackle then leave the boat guy's boat all bloody, fish scaled up,covered in cigar ashes and empty adult beverage containers, go home.

Much cheaper and indeedly much easier.   :2vrolijk_21:

I'm with you Mike.  Here's the guy I go with.....  http://www.fishinmagician.com/index_files/Page946.html
I'm the guy with the black tank top and white hat.

Great Lakes fishing rocks!  I've got a 15 lb Brown, a 17 lb Lake Trout, and a 25 lb Chinook on my wall.  I had a 20 lb Steel Head in the freezer but the freezer broke before I got it to the taxidermist (what a mess).  There are also land locked Atlantic Salmon and Coho Salmon caught on similar rigs.

Were you watching Jamey and I?  I thought we were invisable to everyone else.

Yes, we loved the bobbing around, but hated the going in the water and the coming out. I could never do anything right or fast enough. Much rather ride my bike.  Not that I can do that right or fast enough either, but at lease I am in control of my own ride.   :D :D :D :D

Your Steel Head probably looked like it had been through a Bass-O-Matic.  Yech.

Great charter boat there, Jim.  I used to fish, now I just drink beer & eat fish other people catch.

Not sure if we saw you & Jamey but we were usually too polite to laugh out loud.  Usually.  Local lake went dry so it's kinda dull now around the boat ramp.   :(

Lisa will back a boat trailer & can back it better than me - at times. But she has no interest in riding her own bike.  She controls her own naps back there, I suppose.....   ;D
