Dumb question of the week!

What is this little valve for, and do I really need the rubber tip cover?
(PS I lost the rubber cover!)  :o

That is the bleed valve for your hydrolic clutch.  Which may answer your question regarding the cover for it.

Those little sum beaches disappear quicker that the 110s develop oil leaks.  Can't keep one on there so don't even try anymore.

Yep, kept knocking mine off when I cleaned the bike.  Finally lost if for good.  Not worried about it.

I typically loose the cover the first time I wash the bike. Then I forget about it.
