baffels removed
« on: March 10, 2008, 10:57:55 PM »

I finally picked up my springer on March 6th, I took the bike to my shop and proceeded to remove the catalyst baffels. Which was a simple unbolt and remove. I then made my own D-rings from 3" pipe that was 3 1/2" long and 5/32 metal dowel rod welded 2 1/2" in from the tip, along with a sert and you could feel the power difference from the start. so if you like the stock look and want cheap big power gain this is the way to go. by the way if you want a set for yourself let me know.

The bike sounds like a drag bike. When you first start it and it drops off high idle you can finally hear the cams work, you can also hear the compression release through the pipes at start up. And I haven't done anything with the cats
