Harley did a guided tour last year.  The information was on their web site.  It involved planned stops for each night and a truck for extra luggage.  It began in Chicago and ended at the Santa Monica pier.  It was 2 weeks with lots of sight seeing opportunity.  You may want to try to find it on the HD web site.  perhaps it's an annual event.  it wasn't cheap but there aren't any surprises when someone else is doing the planning.  At the very least you can look at their map and recommended stops to use as a guideline.  Good luck.  Let us know what the final plan is.  I'll bet there will be interest from members here to possibly join you to help celebrate your birthday.
